Birch Creek, Deep Springs Valley, White Mountains, Inyo Co., California

Ex. Steve Pullman

Zoisite crystals with a light pink coloration which are composed of crudely formed, elongated, parallel orientated sub crystals. When a pink color, the varietal name, Thulite, is used. The location is a bit a hazy and the specimen is similar to one posted on mindat as being from 'Unnamed Thulite occurrence [2], Saline Valley, Inyo Co., California'. Associated minerals include what appears to be sugary, micro crystals of Quartz, some of which are colored green from Chlorite, and a schist/mica.
