Ex. Robert Gannon
A very nice Prehnite specimen from Connecticut which stalactic like stacks of crystals. The color is a light green but where the Prehnite is thinner, the dark color of the underlying matrix gives the Prehnite a darker color with a bit of blue/gray tint. The Prehnite is composed of a multitude of rounded and curved, merged, small crystals. These crystals have a high glossy luster and with so many surfaces, the specimen has a bit of sparkle.
Condition: Very Good
Flaws: There are two, hairlines cracks running the layer of Prehnite.
