Vitoria da Conquista, Bahia, Brazil

This species is a bit of a rarity for Brazil. I have been told this is quite old material. The color is a very dark brown. Held up to the light the specimen exhibits some translucence. There are some interesting growth lines on the specimen. There is a bit of damage clearly visible in the photos.
