A classic Moat Mountain specimen of blocky Microcline crystals, smaller, curved Albite crystals and stout Smoky Quartz crystals. The Microcline crystals are a cream color, although there is a minor amount of light green coloration in the Microcline which is below the Albite which can be observed on the sides of the specimen (which is not visible in the photos). The Albite is a slightly lighter color. The Smoky Quartz crystals are semi transparent. There is also green colored Chamosite at the bases of some of the Albite crystals. The specimen is in good condition with the only appreciable damage around the edges of the specimen which consists primarily of one broken Smoky Quartz crystal.
