There are three generations of Aragonite present on this specimen. Small rounded aggregates are perched on needle like crystals which arise from a bed of rounded growths. The color is essentially white with a pale pastel pink/orange coloration in places due to iron oxides. The specimen is likely from one of the numerous limestone caverns in Pima county.
The specimen is in very good condition with no appreciable damage.
