A Quartz crystal with a very unusual habit, especially for the location. One termination is very flat and thin and measures on average 2 mm in thickness. The other termination widens out to 8 mm in thickness. The wide end is composed of multiple terminations and the thin end has one flat termination. The coloration is pale and consists of a light purple, Amethyst color at the thin end and a light smoky brown color at thickest area. There are numerous micro inclusions of red Hematite and small air/water bubbles. The specimen is in good condition however, part of the termination at the thicker end of the specimen is damaged.
