A very clear Quartz crystal with two pronounced, white colored phantoms, the bottom of which is irregular in shape. The back side of the crystal has a light coating of micro material which has a light orange/brown color. This is likely an iron oxide clay material. This material is also included just below the surface on the back side of the specimen and creates a thin, small phatom about 1 mm below the surface on the back of the termination. This material lends an overall light orange/tan color to the crystal, especially when viewed from the front. The color is more pronounced near the base which contrastls nicely with the white phantoms. The location is named for Juscelino Kubitschek who was president of Brazil from 1956 to 1961 and is considered the father of modern Brazil. He was born in the area and his mother was of Czech and Romani origin. The specimen is in good condition with the excpeption of a small chipped area at the termination.
