Red zircon crystals in a biotite schist matrix. The crystals are well formed, gemmy and have a high luster on the glassy smooth surfaces. The specimen is in good condition however, the largest crystal has some internal fractures which makes one corner look slightly damaged (not really visible in the pictures and the flaws are beneth the surface). Also, the broken crystal on the edge of the specimen is lose in the matrix.
