Blocky, semi gemmy, Dioptase crystals on a bed of gray colored calcite crystals from the type location. The color is the typical, rich vibrant emerald green for which Diotase is noted (and very hard to reproduce with a digital camera). The specimen is in very good condition with no appreciable damage although the specimen appears to have been oiled.
