A single double terminated Amethyst crystal attached at an angle to matrix. The crystal has a darker line of purple color running down the middle and is transparent with the exception of numerous included bubble. The specimen has been mounted on an acrylic base to display the clear interior and line of purple color which is best seen along one edge. The edges are sharp and the faces are partially flat and partially hoppered. The sides have a high glassy luster but the faces of the termination are dull. There is a partial orangish colored coating on two of the faces. The specimen is in very good condition with no appreciable damage.
