A beautiful Rutilated Smoky Quartz crystal with bright gold colored Rutile crystals running through and coming to the surface of the terminations of the two conjoined crystals. The Quartz is transparent at the terminations, which presents the Rutile very well, and has light veils near the base. The sides are very smooth with light growth lines and a high, glassy luster. My apologies for so many pictures, but every one came out nice and it seemed a shame to delete any of them.
The specimen is in excellent condition with the exception of a few very small pits on the edges of the termination.
