Ex. Steve Pullman

K(Zn,Mg,Mn2+)3(AlSi3O10)(OH)2

Platy dark reddish brown colored Hendricksite comprises most of this specimen. The cleaved surfaces have the typical high luster common to mica. There is also some unidentified, intermixed, massive white material. On the back side, is a dull coating which fluoresces green under UV (not vividly though). This is likely Willemite. This is the only mica species which contains zinc. The specimen is in good condition although massive material and slighly crumbly when handled.
