A multicolored Tourmaline is attached to the base of a pale Smoky Quartz crystal. The Tourmaline is pink at the base, light blue in the middle and has a thin layer of light purple at the termination. The colors were very difficult to capture with the camera and are more attractive in person. Post editing of the colors has come close; however, this has given the Smoky Quartz a reddish tint in the photos which is not evident in person. The specimen is in good condition but, the bottom of the Tourmaline is incomplete and there is some minor chipping on the edges. There is also some minor chipping on one of the edges and one of the corners of the termination. The specimen has been hot glued onto an acrylic base.
