Na2Ca(CO3)2·2(H2O)

A glass domed with a selection of Pirssonite crystals from the type location. The dome has been stoppered with a cork and sealed with wax because the species deteriorates in the presence of atmospheric water. The crystals have a glassy luster and are colored a light gray/brown color with a slight hint of green (the color due to the inclusion of impurities). The specimen is in good condition but, there is some powdered material. The seal of wax has become broken over the years. The specimen is now being stored in a plastic zip lock bag.
