Ex. A. C. Moretta #222, Ex. A. E. Seaman Museum
Two Tourmaline crystals partially embedded in the side of an Albite crystal. The color is a good rich pink often seen from the Himalaya mine which is the likely source for the specimen. The terminations are flat and have a thin faint blue tinted layer on the surface. The sides are striated the length of the crystals and have a good luster.
The specimen is in good condition with the exception of some chipping on the edges of the terminations. Also about one fourth of the termination of the larger crystal is missing. Also, the side of the larger crystal appears to have contact areas.
