A section of a large crystal of Spodumene with an approximately square cross section. The interior is a green color and is translucent. One of the exterior surfaces has a reddish color which appears to be iron oxides. Note: the label is from the Dean collection, there is no label from the Seaman Museum.
The specimen is in good condition but only two of the sides appear are the surfaces of the crystal.
