Mineral Specimen #388 Fluorapatite

Sapo mine, Ferruginha, Conselheiro Pena, Doce valley, Minas Gerais, Brazil

This specimen is formed of a hollow tube the sides of which are formed by stacks of parallel Fluorapatite crystals. The specimen is a pale yellow color with a bit of a green tint in places. The is in fairly good condition, although there is breakage on the termination.
