A thin Tourmaline crystal with an odd termination. Approximately a centimeter from the end, most of the crystal terminates with just a thin, 1 mm thick section extending on two sides the rest of the way. Attached to this thin section is a small double terminated crystal. This odd termination may be a cast, but there are growth surfaces on the end of the recessed part of the termination. The color is an olive green, but varies a bit and is a little more vivid green in near the bottom of the crystal. There is a thin layer in a small area with some faint pink coloration. The crystal does have a some catseye effect along its length.
The specimen is in good condition
