Mineral Specimen #3537 Pyrite
Black Jack Mine, Galena, Jo Daviess Co., Illinois
An unusual Pyrite specimen from a mine from which specimens are rarely available. The Pyrite has a radiating structure from a central point which becomes botryoidal at the surface. There are also cubic crystals on the surface.
The specimen is in good condition with no appreciable damage.
