La Finosa Mine (Fontana Rossa Mine), Ghisoni, Corte, Haute-Corse, Corsica, France

6.6 x 4.7 x 3.8 cm

Sold

Cu19(SO4)(OH)32Cl4·3H2O

The Connellite consists of a seam of vivid greenish blue running though a white matrix. The matrix appears to be a mix of massive milky Quartz and a white radiating material which is similar to Pyrophyllite in structure (on mindat, nothing is listed which seems to fit for this material). The specimen is composed of massive material.
