The Rhodochrosite on this specimen is a vivid color which is reddish pink with an orange overtone. Composed of spherical aggregates of small crystals with rounded surfaces which have a high luster. Because there are so many surfaces, the Rhodochrosite sparkles. The specimen is in very good to excellent condition with the only damage being on the edges of the Rhodochrosite which appear much lighter in color.
