Mineral Specimen #332 Fluorapatite
Sapo mine, Ferruginha, Conselheiro Pena, Doce valley, Minas Gerais, Brazil
This specimen is formed of three hollow tubes the sides of which are formed by stacks of parallel Fluorapatite crystals. The specimen is a pale yellow color with a bit of a green tint in places. The largest tube is in excellent condition on the end; whereas the second largest tube shows breakage at the end (possibly the point of attachment).
