Mineral Specimen #298 Copper included in Calcite

Caledonia mine, Ontonagon County, Michigan

This specimen has an entire vug filled with Calcite crystals with included Copper. The Calcite crystals are rhombahedral which is not common for Michigan Calcite with Copper inclusions. The specimen stands well without a stand. The Calcite crystals are in good condition although slightly etched and a bit cloudy in places.
