Mineral Specimen #2537 Smithsonite
Kelly Mine, Magdalena, Socorro Co., New Mexico
There are three very lustrous spheres of Smithsonite on the surface of this specimen. The color is a light gray with a slight blue tint. The largest two spheres are approximately 1 cm in diameter. The Smithsonite is translucent when back lit. The specimen is in good condition with no appreciable damage. More spherical Smithsonite can be found on the sides of the specimen.
