Mineral Specimen #249    Lavender Smithsonite Sphere

Chihuahua, Mexico

Actually this is more a stalactical growth with a nearly spheroid end. The color is an attractive mix of pastel pink and purple with the color varying a bit across the specimen. The luster is quite high and there is no bruising.
