This double terminated Tourmaline is overall a red/pink color but the interior of much of it is a light, clear, green/blue teal color. At the lighter end of the crystal, the termination is flat and complete. When looking straight onto this axis, it can be seen there is a thin outer rind of the pink color and the interior is the light teal color. When viewed from the side, the pink color predominates. The light colored interior material extends through most of the crystal, but becomes steadily thiner. The last approximate centimter is completely red/pink with the color becoming very rich at the very end, about as red as Tourmaline gets. This termination is about 2/3 complete. Where it is complete, there is a thin layer of green on the end of the flat termination. Overall, the specimen is quite gemmy in places, but there are cloudy areas also. The specimen is in good condition with the exception of the previously mentioned incomplete termination.
