This is a very unique and interesting Orpiment crystal. It has a thin sheet like habit with a very high metallic luster. It resembles in appearance a piece of yellow colored aluminum foil and has a curved shape (but is not flexible). The specimen is in very good condition with no appreciable damage. It has been glued onto a styrofoam pedastal which has been glued onto a 2 inch base of thin styrofoam.

Approximately 1 mm in thickness
