This Vanadinite has had a pewter base custom mounted to one end to stand it up. The base is pretty nice and looks like it was cast around the end of the specimen. Never saw this before, it is a pretty good idea. The Vanadinite itself is composed of a myriad of small crystals which is a pleasant light orange color and has good luster and sparkle. The specimen is in farily good condition with only minor damage.
