Mineral Specimen #193 Thompsonite
Shendurni, Jalgaon District, Maharashtra, India
Nice spheres of Thompsonite on matrix. The underlying basalt is a rich brick red color. There is also an unidentified green material and an unidentified orangish material covering the matrix which contrasts nicely with the Thompsonite. The largest sphere is 2 cm across. The basalt has been sawn on the bottom and three sides (it appears to be very a tough material).
