Mineral Specimen #188 Galena

Reynolds County, Missouri, USA

This Galena crystal is in very good condition. The luster is very good (yes that is my thumbprint in the 3rd photo). There is  an attractive light tarnish which is blue/green and pinkish/purple on the top surface. Each of the corners of the top surface are beveled with no damage. There are interesting growth lines on each surface. On the bottom, there are some crude Marcasite crystals and some secondary Galena crystals. Please note, the dimensions of the crystal are 4.8 x 4.2 x 3.4 (the extra in the third dimension are due to the secondary Galena crystals).
