Mineral Specimen #186 Copper in Quartz Vein with Epidote

Butler Lode, Caldedonia Mine, Ontonagon County, Michigan

The Copper in this specimen formed in a Quartz vein. Where the Quartz has been removed, the Copper shows distinct casts of the Quartz. There is also many vugs in the basalt matrix of Epidote and a couple of Adularia (Feldspar-K).
