Mineral Specimen #178 Rhodochrosite

Sweet Home Mine, Alma, Park County, Colorado, USA

This is a large thumbnail size specimen. One crystal is completely clear with no damage.  Likewise, the rest of the top of specimen is damage free, wtih cleaves of the crystals on the edges. I originally bought this at the Denver show from Collector's Edge in the 90s when it had been freshly mined. This spring, I bought it back from the collector at the Detroit Metro Swap.
