Mineral Specimen #166 Silver with Calcite
Uchucchacua Mine, Oyon Province, Lima Department, Peru
This specimen reminds one of a snake rising up. It does stand up on it's own (as in the first photo). The other photos were taken with the specimen laying down so different angles could be depicted. There is a coating of micro Calcite crystals. A blue background was used for the photos so one could see both the dark gray Silver and the white Calcite.
