Yellow Mimetite is coated with rhombohedral Calcite crystals. The color of the Calcite varies from clear to an orange. The mimetie has grown on a matrix of white matrix which on the bottom shows concentric growth rings. The specimen is in fairly good condition with a few small areas of breakage. Although the specimen came from the Don Langham collection it was purchased originally from Ken Ja Entreprises of Detroit Michigan.
