Rio das Pratinhas, Arataca, Bahia, Brazil

This specimen shows a strong twinning pattern forming a V shape. Interestingly, the Smoky Quartz matrix lines up with the edge of the Chrysoberly giving the specimen an overall appealing triangular shape. The Cat's Eye refers to the chatoyancy which would be exhibited if the Chrysoberyl were cabbed.
