Mineral Specimen #1362    Selenite Desert Rose

Algeria

Two attached desert roses bearing the distinctive orange/brown color seen in such specimens from Algeria. The color is due to small inclusions of sand. The specimen is in fairly good condition with some wear on a few of the edges and some breakage on the edges in the back of the specimen.
