Xichang Mine, Xichang County, Liangshan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, China

Both sides of this specimen are quite nice but completely different. On one side, there are Quartz crystals to 2.5 cm with dark green Epidote crystals to 5mm. On the other side, with the exception near the top, the Epidote is pistachio green micro crystals over Quartz. The Quartz appears to be casts after some unidentified dissolved mineral. This makes for an interesting combination for a specimen. The specimen is in very good condition.
