Nasik quarry, Nasik District, Maharashtra, India

Ca2(Fe,Mn)FeSi5O14(OH)

Small crudely formed crystals of Babingtonite crystals are perched on peach colored Stilbite crystals. The Stilbite crystals overlay white Calcite and very small glassy Quartz crystals. The specimen is a curved section of a vug. The specimen is in good condition with the exception of a couple of broken Stilbite crystals in the center of the specimen. Note: from the bottom of the specimen, it appears the specimen has been repaired.
