Mineral Specimen #1338 Ajoite and Hematite included in Quartz with Tangeite

(K,Na)Cu7AlSi9O24(OH)6·3H2O with CaCu(VO4)(OH)
This specimen has multiple Quartz crystals with included Ajoite. The color of the Ajoite is particularily vivid in this specimen. Some of the crystals also have inclusions of Hematite which is colored from reddish brown to black. Many of the crystals also have the rare mineral, Tangeite, covering their bases. The specimen is in good condition. The only Quartz crystals with damage are at the far left of the cluster. There are few other small Ajoite included crystals visible on the other side of the specimen.
