Mineral Specimen #1293 Banded Agate
Chihuahua, Mexico
The colors in this banded Agate are found in a range of butterscotch and bright reddish orange colors. The center banding is white with just a faint hint of lavender. There are also areas which are clear and give a three dimensional aspect to the agate allowing one to see the sides of the bands. The Agate was polished by Don Langham and was part of his agate display he exhibited in the 1960s and 1970s at shows in southern Michigan. It has a very high, glossy polish.
