Mineral Specimen #1284 Rosasite, Selenite
Minas Ojuela, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico
Small spheres of blue green Rosasite are scattered across the specimen. These contrast nicely with the reddish brown matrix. The larger the sphere, the darker the color (the color is in general a bit darker in person). There are clear, crudely shaped Selenite crystals scattered across the specimen. There are a few Rosasite spheres on the Selenite. The specimen is in very good conditon with no appreciable damage.
