Dallas Gem Mine, San Benito River headwaters area, New Idria District, Diablo Range, San Benito County, California

Type Location

BaTi(Si3O3)

Semi-gemmy to gemmy euhedral crystals in very good condition. The crystals are from a contact surface, so the crystals end on the reverse side from the photos. With the usual associated Natrolite and Crossite from the type location (the mine has a few other names which have changed over the years with ownership). The largest crystal is slighty over 1 cm on its longest edge. This is one of the specimens collected a few years ago by Collector's Edge.
