Butte District, Silver Bow Co., Montana, USA

Bladed crystals of Covellite. This is classic material from the now closed mines around Butte, Montana. The color of the specimen is quite dark with the majority of it iridescent. The color of the iridescence is primarily gold with areas of purple and blue.
