Mineral Specimen #1071    Datolite with Epidote

Flint Steel Mine, Ontonagon County, Michigan, USA

This Datolite nodule has a very high polish. The color is a chocolate brown on the edges with an interior which is white with a hint of pink. The green Epidote creates a nice contrast.
