Mineral Specimen #1059 Cuprian Adamite
Mina Ojuela, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico
This specimen is covered with green colored Adamite crystals. The crystals have a high luster and most have triangluar faces. The color ranges from an olive to a blue/green (this is sometimes referred to as blue Adamite). This color is most pronounced in the Adamite in the crevice. The specimen is in very good condition with no appreciable damage. Does not fluoresce very much.
