The Ericssonite is the dark red colored grains. The species is very rare. The old Sid Williams label was correct at that time when Orthoericssonite was considered a separate species. It was later renamed to Ericssonite-2O. This name was then discredited in 2011 and is now considered an orthorhombic polytype of Ericssonite, but not a separate species.

Condition: Composed of massive material.

Flaws: Essentially massive material.
