Very small, dark colored Marcasite crystals on the surface and included just below the surface of scalenohedral Calcite crystals with complex surfaces. Also present are small casts with a rusty colored coating. Some of these casts have a cubic appearance which might indicate the missing crystals were Pyrite. The specific mine was identified by the presence of a psoted specimen on mindat that is very similar in all aspects.
Flaws: The tips of some of the Calcite crystals are bruised.
