Two lines of Andradite crystals run the length of this specimen. The crystals are a brown/green olive color with a few microcrystals in recessed areas exhibiting a bright green color. The crystals are up to 1.5 mm across in size. The matrix is metamorphic with small bladed crystals on the surface. The bottom of the specimen has been cut and lacquered and exhibits very interesting and attractive patterns. The bright chrome green coloration is in further evidence on the bottom. The composition of the matrix is unidentified. Specimens from this mine are seldom available. A rather unique speicmen from the Pullman collection.
The specimen is in very good condition with no appreciable damage.
