This Stibnite specimen is composed primarily of small, very thin, needle like crystals and is very light in weight for its size. There are two larger crystals with wide flat faces. The color ranges from silver gray to nearly black with a metallic luster. Specimens are seldom available from this location. There is also some attached white colored Calcite which exhibits a weak pink colored fluorescence under UV. The specimen is in fairly good condition; however, small needle like fragments can come off when handled.
