Mineral Specimen #913    Lazulite, Siderite and Rutile

Palermo No. 1 Mine (Palermo #1 pegmatite), Groton, Grafton Co., New Hampshire, USA

A massive specimen of bright blue Lazulite from an unusual location for the species (I have seen similar material from the mine labeled Lapis Lazuli). The Siderite is the tan colored platy crystals and the Rutile is the reddish brown massive material.
